This Women’s Circle is a sacred space to pause, reflect, and honour the seasonal shift into autumn. 

Together, we will soften into practices of movement, meditation, journaling, aromatherapy and sound healing that guide us toward letting go of what no longer serves, and welcoming the wisdom and rest this season invites.

As the trees release their leaves, we too allow ourselves to release old patterns, emotions,  or stories that we no longer need to carry. 

In community, we remember that letting go can be gentle, supported, and sacred.

Our intention is to leave feeling more grounded, connected, and renewed — nourished by the presence of one another, and held by the rhythms of the earth

As the season shifts to fall, nature teaches us the art of letting go—leaves drop, air cools, and energy turns

inward. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), fall is governed by the Metal element, associated with

the Lungs and Large Intestine, the organs of breath, boundary, and release. It’s a time to clear what no

longer serves, refine what remains, and reconnect with what is essential.

In this session, you’ll receive community-style acupuncture—a gentle, deeply restorative treatment offered

in a shared space.

This collective setting allows us to tap into the power of group healing, where individual

stillness supports the whole. We will use points that support the lung and large intestine meridians to boost

immunity, support emotional release, and deepen your breath and presence.

Whether you are brand new to acupuncture or a long-time recipient, this is an opportunity to settle into

yourself and attune to the quieter rhythms of the season—together.

Restorative Yoga for Reflection & Refinement

In alignment with the autumn season and the Metal element, this restorative yoga practice invites you

to slow down, turn inward, and recalibrate. In yoga and in life, structure creates freedom—and through

thoughtful use of props, breath, and geometry, we build a container that allows the nervous system to

unwind and the body to reorganize itself.

This practice will focus on supported shapes that open the lungs, soften the belly, and create space for

breath and reflection. As the trees let go of their leaves, we too practice releasing what we no longer

need—physically, emotionally, and energetically—making space for clarity and renewed vision.

With poetic metaphor, precise placement, and a touch of seasonal ritual, this practice is both

deeply grounding and expansive, helping you settle into the wisdom of the season with grace.

What to Expect:

Annica Melanson and Luisa Quezada will begin with an invigorating yoga movement practice, inviting energy and circulation into the body. As you flow through mindful sequences, the gentle warmth of the practice will awaken your inner glow. To enhance your experience, we'll introduce an invigorating essential oil blend that will refresh your senses and uplift your spirit.

Afterwards, we will pause for a nourishing lunch, catered by delicious UpBeetEatsInc.to take this time to reflect or connect with others in this cozy, supportive space.

Next, we will transition into a grounding Yin Yoga session, using long-held postures to release tension and effectively target the connective tissues and energetic pathways of the body. This practice will help to bring balance to the kidney and urinary bladder meridians. These meridians are associated with the winter season. Supported by the calming energy of crystals, this practice will promote both emotional balance and physical renewal, helping you shed the heaviness of winter.

In the final portion of the retreat, enjoy a deeply restorative practice with gentle hands-on massage, soothing essential oils, and sound healing. Drift into relaxation as the vibrations of crystal bowls and chimes wash over you, allowing your body and mind to fully surrender. A calming essential oil will enhance this portion, supporting relaxation and peace.
